PRESTOplay integrates with Broadpeak SmartLib for precise ad insights and monetization

castLabs and Broadpeak’s new integration
Against this reality, and building upon our longstanding partnership, we’ve joined forces with Broadpeak to streamline targeted TV advertising tracking.
In the form of a new pre-integration, our PRESTOplay SDKs, known for their robustness and versatility, now seamlessly integrate with Broadpeak’s SSAI solutions. The benefits? OTT and PayTV providers can easily enable new monetization models driven by precise targeting and reporting.
The out-of-the-box integration includes support for both on-premise deployments using the BKYou solution and Software as a Service (SaaS) via the Broadpeak.io Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) service.
One of the key highlights of this integration is its ability to capture ad impression statistics at the PRESTOplay SDK level, unlocking valuable insights for advertisers. This data is then made readily available to the Broadpeak SSAI platform through its SmartLib client SDK.

This functionality is a game-changer because it provides ad completion rates to third-party systems. Why is this important? Well, it’s crucial for campaign management and billing reconciliation, empowering content providers to make data-driven decisions.
Moreover, SmartLib supports third-party viewability and verification measurement of ad serving, fully compliant with IAB Tech Lab-certified Open Measurement standards. This ensures transparency and accuracy in the advertising ecosystem, giving advertisers and content providers greater confidence in their campaigns.
The new release expands on PRESTOplay’s existing collaboration with Broadpeak, which includes integration with their mABR NanoCDN solution for seamless NanoAgent discovery, as well as their Advanced CDN Solution, designed for efficient session management and comprehensive playback statistics.
A seamless viewer experience with smart returns
By bringing together PRESTOplay SDKs and Broadpeak SSAI’s end-to-end solution, OTT and PayTV operators can now offer a flawlessly integrated, targeted video advertising experience for their audiences. Advertisers can now engage in one-to-one conversations, similar to their investments in online inventories and audiences, departing from traditional linear TV advertising. Ultimately, this means more engaging, relevant, and effective ads for viewers; and more returns from OTT and PayTV operators.
