OUR BOOTH DEMOS
What’s new this year?
The media industry is entering a new era.
For years, content security has focused on preventing unauthorized access and tracing leaks. That remains essential. But today’s challenge is broader: organizations also need to prove that official content is authentic, verify its origin, preserve trust information across workflows, and warn audiences or internal teams when media may have been changed.
At IBC, we’ll demonstrate how Castlabs technologies support this shift – combining premium content protection, forensic watermarking, C2PA-aligned provenance, secure media workflows, advanced playback, and monetization tools into a future-ready media stack.
Here’s what you can experience at our booth:
DRM for IPTV multicast and hybrid PayTV
At IBC2026, we’ll preview the latest expansion of our cloud-based multi-DRM licensing platform DRMtoday: standard DRM protection for IPTV multicast and hybrid PayTV workflows.
Operators can now protect multicast channels using CENC and bring hardware-secured Widevine and PlayReady DRM to IPTV delivery – while continuing to rely on the same trusted DRMtoday licensing infrastructure already used for premium OTT services. For PayTV providers, this opens a more modern path beyond traditional CAS. Operators can keep RTP/UDP multicast delivery in place for the years ahead, while reducing the cost and complexity of legacy security systems and moving toward one unified protection model across IPTV, hybrid, and OTT services.
Learn more in our latest blog entry how multicast and unicast streams can be protected through the same DRM licensing servers and delivery paths.
STARDUSTmark: Studio-grade leak detection for global workflows
STARDUSTmark is our studio-grade forensic watermarking technology, designed to protect valuable content and help establish trust across complex media workflows.
For studios, platforms, and production teams, STARDUSTmark enables robust, imperceptible, single-frame watermarking for leak detection and traceability. Each frame can carry a unique identifier, helping teams identify the source of a leak even when content has been cropped, resized, re-encoded, heavily compressed, or visually transformed.
But the story no longer stops at leak detection.
As media authenticity becomes a business-critical requirement, STARDUSTmark also plays a role in attaching trust signals to video and image assets. By supporting C2PA-aligned provenance workflows, it helps connect protection, traceability, and authenticity – giving organizations a stronger way to prove where content came from and whether it can be trusted.
For media companies, studios, and institutions, this means a more resilient foundation for both content security and digital trust.
Content authenticity and media provenance with Arbor
At IBC, we’ll showcase a joint demo with Arbor Media exploring how content authenticity and provenance can be built directly into trusted media workflows.
The demo highlights how official video content can carry persistent trust information across livestreaming, recording, publishing, and archiving workflows – helping organizations demonstrate where media came from, how it has been handled, and whether it remains trustworthy after publication.
Built around C2PA-aligned provenance and Castlabs’ STARDUSTmark technology, the demo shows how public institutions, broadcasters, and other organizations can strengthen transparency, support forensic traceability, and provide clearer signals when content may have been altered.
Visit our booth to see how Arbor and Castlabs are helping make digital trust part of the media lifecycle – from creation to public distribution.
PRESTOplay for addressable TV ads
PRESTOplay, our advanced hybrid video player, supports SGAI for addressable TV campaigns, enabling targeted ad delivery across both OTT and IPTV services.
Built for low latency, reliable playback, and smooth transitions, PRESTOplay helps operators and platforms:
- Unlock new monetization opportunities with targeted and non-linear ad formats
- Enable addressable replay inventory and dynamic ad replacement
- Maintain a smooth viewer experience during mid-stream ad breaks
Our end-to-end workflows integrate with leading SSAI and SGAI partners, helping create a reliable path from ad decisioning through to playback and measurement.
Client-side monetization with PRESTOads SDK
PRESTOads, our player-agnostic addressable ads SDK, is designed to improve ad tracking, viewability, and verification on the client side.
OM SDK-certified by the IAB Tech Lab, PRESTOads helps publishers and platforms:
- Achieve frame-accurate VAST event tracking
- Increase inventory value with verified impressions and viewability data
- Strengthen advertiser confidence while reducing operational overhead
PRESTOads can be used as a standalone SDK or together with PRESTOplay, giving video services a flexible way to improve monetization while maintaining a high-quality playback experience.
Lightning-fast channel zapping
PRESTOplay also brings broadcast-grade responsiveness to OTT and hybrid IPTV/OTT environments with instant channel switching. This helps create a familiar and fluid viewer experience across linear and on-demand streams, especially for services where fast navigation, synchronization, and reliability are essential.
For operators and broadcasters, it means a more responsive experience for audiences moving between live channels, replay content, and on-demand programming.
OUR stage sessions
Don’t miss out
Beyond the demos at our booth, we’ll also join two IBC sessions exploring some of the most important questions shaping the future of media technology: how to build trust in digital content, how to prove authenticity, and how modern content security needs to evolve for premium video services.
From C2PA and media provenance to DRM, watermarking, and multi-layer revenue security, our team will share perspectives from building technologies that help media organizations protect content, verify origin, and deliver trusted video experiences at scale.
Michael Stattmann will discuss content provenance, authenticity, and C2PA – and how these technologies can help media organizations respond to a world where synthetic media, manipulated content, and trust in official sources are becoming critical industry challenges.
The session will explore how new technologies are reshaping the way media is created, distributed, verified, and trusted, bringing together perspectives from media technology, networks, standards, and applied innovation.

James Hynard will join a Content Everywhere Stage session on modern premium video protection.
The session will explore how DRM fits into a broader content security architecture as piracy tactics become more sophisticated. Today, protecting premium video increasingly depends on multiple complementary layers — from licensing and policy enforcement to forensic watermarking, CDN tokenization, provenance, and C2PA-aligned authenticity workflows.
Drawing on his experience with DRMtoday, STARDUSTmark, and secure media workflows, James will discuss how content protection is expanding beyond access control to support stronger accountability, traceability, and trust across the video delivery chain.
