What’s new: DRMtoday Onboard remote management

As piracy is one of the biggest concerns in the content delivery process, we’re furthering our commitment to improving the usability of DRMtoday Onboard to make media security management even easier. With our new and improved services, customers will be able to reduce the complexity of DRMtoday Onboard deployments with hardware security technologies by taking advantage of new remote management services. These new services will allow you to easily and securely activate, revoke, and update devices running DRMtoday Onboard, all without additional overhead in the field.

This update is coming soon, so meet us at the show to learn more!

Enabling next-gen content

We’ll present our end-to-end capabilities for easily enabling next-gen UHD/HDR content on aircraft. Check out our workflow technologies at the show to see how we can help you offer the best content quality experiences for your passengers.

Secure content processing

Secure cloud processing

Our Video Toolkit cloud service is studio and TPN approved for processing UHD/HDR content quickly and securely. Media can be output with DRM encryption as well as on-the-fly forensic watermarking without the need for content duplication.

DRMtoday content security

On-aircraft DRM protection

Our DRMtoday Onboard server solution provides multi-DRM licensing content security for all devices. Through turn-key smart server software and management tools, we allow UHD approval to be nearly plug-and-play. DRMtoday Onboard can also limit key distribution based on security availability, meaning UHD content keys won’t be sent to servers unless they have a proper level of hardware security.

Widevine device certification

Seat-back device certification

Planning to use seatback screens? We’re trusted by Google to certify Widevine implementations for AOSP and Linux devices including the Widevine L1 hardware security level to enable playback of the highest content qualities.

Players

Cross-platform playback

We also offer our PRESTOplay secure solutions to create feature-rich players for seat-back Android and embedded Linux screens as well as passenger-owned devices through browser-based experiences or native apps.

We look forward to seeing you at the show
